Omroep Gelderland investeert in 2 Ross Vision production switchers en Overdrive

RTV Gelderland Completes Studio

Renovations with Ross

Monday, December 3, 2012 [Iroquois, Ontario, Canada] - RTV Gelderland completes two studio renovations in Arnhem, Omroep using Ross Video technology.

Omroep Gelderland invested in two Ross Vision 2 Production Switchers, one designated for their News Studio under the control of OverDrive, and the other for their larger Events Studio. Omroep Gelderland produces two daily news programs, plus a weekly Friday night live studio event for their region.

“Our Choice was not too difficult, ” said Jürgen Telkamp, Technical Video Specialist at Omroep Gelderland. “ Ross Video worked seamlessly with our requirements in terms of hardware and automation. In addition, the implementation was easy to achieve.”

Already familiar with Ross’ XPression Character Generator, Gelderland also added an NK HD/SD Video Router and BlackStorm Video Playout Server.

“Buying the equipment was one thing, but having the support of Ross Video and our local dealer Sealander Visions was the icing on the cake, ” continued Jürgen. “ Each party has been particularly good in both conception and aftercare, always keeping our wishes in mind.”

Omroep Gelderland went on air with their upgraded Newsroom Studio in June 2012, followed by their Events Studio in September 2012.
